Truth is a concept of primary importance to philosophy, science, law and religion. The last few years on this planet have been extremely intense both politically and ecologically. That is why I think it is Time For Truth, as the people of this world are no longer deceived and threatened by the powers that be.
Truth is the only thing that liberates us in the end. It brings hope for a better tomorrow. I believe that we can achieve and accomplish whatever we put our mind to. That we can break any paradigm to find our way. If you Use Your Imagination you will manifest your dreams and build them into life. We will discover the Reason why we are here, which is our own personal truth. We can cultivate a faith to Hold On to when the winds of change are too strong. We look to our leaders for hope and strength because we are desperate for change, desperate for truth... but only we can define and shape our future and control our destiny, not the Man On TV.
Five years ago I was standing Out On The Playa at a festival named "Burning Man" in the Nevada desert. While there I experienced a total breakdown of all concepts we usually depend on as a civilization or society. The desert is a barren place... a place where people can become lost and disoriented and left only with a Sunburn. The mirage of an oasis misleads many. We start drinking the dirt, believing it is quenching our desire for truth. Until we discover that what we are really thirsty for is the water that is our subconcious mind. When we delve deeply into our heart we will find our way Home beyond the desert storm. It is time to take a serious look in the Mirror and see that our differences are our similarities. That we really are One Nation.
This is my truth and a tribute to what I believe to be the answer to a lot of questions I have asked myself in the past. Why are we here? Where are we from. We are very fortunate to have the intelligence to ask these questions in the first place. We can learn a great deal about ourselves by accepting that we are part of a great Supercell. As Carl Sagan once said, "We are a way for the Cosmos to know itself", for we are part of an ancient and Awesome Machinery.
